At the end of 2017, Le Macaron French Pastries closed with more than 45 cafés throughout the United States. These franchise opportunities are now being extended to a new kind of brand strategy, as Le Macaron is looking to launch mobile food carts that cater to quick-serve crowds.

“We wanted to create an opportunity that allows our franchisees to work in nonconventional environments and offer guests a sweet treat when they are unable to access one of our locations,” says Rosalie Guillem, CEO and co-founder of Le Macaron French Pastries.

Le Macaron specializes in lighter desserts with fewer calories, including more than 20 flavors of macarons, as well as pastries, gelato, coffee, cakes, éclairs, and more. The company hopes to get these treats to on-the-go customers at malls, sporting events, festivals, and other gatherings.

“Our products are small and can easily be eaten on the go, so a mobile food cart aligns directly with our brand. This will only accelerate our growth as we welcome a new group of franchisees looking to enter the fast-casual industry,” Guillem says.
