In December 2017, Kneaders Bakery & Café celebrated its 20th anniversary. Among the other milestones the fast-casual eatery has reached include over one million loaves of bread donated to people in need over those 20 years, and over $100 million in total sales for 2017.

“We are so grateful to have been able to serve our loyal customers over the last 20 years. The love and generosity of each one of our communities is what has made Kneaders successful and that is what will continue to carry us forward,” says Kneaders Bakery & Café co-founder Colleen Worthington.

As part of its celebration, Kneaders gave away a grand prize of a paid trip to King Arthur Flour Baking School in Burlington, Washington. This included airfare, hotel accommodations, a rental car, dinner, and sightseeing experiences for two.

The grand prize winner was Utah customer Tazia Moss. She and a friend will attend a two-day course at the Baking School, learning how to bake flatbreads from India, Mediterranean breads, spring tarts, and cake with instruction from the school’s master bakers. Five first-prize winners received Kneaders Best Baskets (valued at $100), while twenty second-prize winners each received a $20 gift card.
