New York-style bagel chain Bruegger’s Bagels has updated its menu for the winter season, with sweet and spicy flavors that hope to satisfy cravings.

One such item that combines both sweet and spicy is the new Sriracha Honey cream cheese, which blends Sriracha hot chili sauce and sweet clover honey in a Vermont cream cheese. The flavor adds a kick to Bruegger’s Bagels’ new breakfast sandwich, the Sriracha Honey Sunrise, which is made with a seasoned fresh-cracked egg, peppered bacon, and cheddar cheese on a toasted Everything bagel.

The chain has also added another sandwich to the menu, the Sweet Heat Turkey Sandwich. This is made with roasted turkey, cheddar cheese, crisp red and green bell peppers, and Sriracha sauce on butter-toasted marbled rye bread.

Both sandwiches pair well with a returning seasonal beverage, the French Toast Coffee. All of these items will be available until May 2.

“Our winter menu features complex, layered-on flavors that bring together sweet, spicy, and savory to warm our guests when it's cold outside,” says Bruegger's Bagels Vice President of Marketing Judy Kadylak. “It's the season for comfort foods, rich flavors, and a little heat, which Bruegger's Bagels delivers with its new offerings and returning favorites.”
