Bakery chain Milk Bar has announced that it is collaborating with apparel store Madewell for a line of merchandise that will reflect both companies’ essence.

The exclusive limited-edition line of wearable and edible goodies comes from a mutual admiration between Milk Bar founder Christina Tosi and Madewell  head designer Joyce Lee.

“Joyce and I don’t color inside the lines. We always have our eyes open for inspiration or ideas from unexpected places. This collection is a reflection of us letting our imaginations and creativity run wild in two areas we’re both passionate about, style and food,” says Christina Tosi.

Among the items available of purchase beginning December 5 include t-shirts and bandanas emblazoned with cookies, a denim apron that takes Madewell’s popular jeans into the kitchen, and a blue(berry) jeans-inspired cookie mix that features  bits of streusel crisp and dried blueberries.

According to Joyce Lee, the two companies have created “the perfect gift set of fun and functional pieces that are Milk Bar approved for the kitchen, but with a Madewell twist.”
