Angry Orchard Cider Company and New York City’s The Doughnut Project have partnered for a unique seasonal doughnut offering. To celebrate the upcoming National Apple Cider Day on Saturday, November 18, the two companies are introducing The Angry Crisp Doughnut.

This mashup of the popular hard cider product and The Doughnut Project’s gourmet doughnuts will be available for a limited time starting Friday, November 17 and lasting until Sunday, November 19. Apple cider enthusiasts can get the doughnut at The Doughnut Project’s West Village location during those days and at Angry Orchard's Cider House at the Angry Orchard in Walden, New York on Saturday, November 18.

“Everyone enjoys a refreshing hard cider paired with their favorite doughnut, especially during the fall,” says Ryan Burk, head cider maker at Angry Orchard. “So for National Apple Cider Day, we wanted to bring the pairing to life with our cider, giving people yet another unique way to experience Angry Orchard and celebrate the season.”

“We have a true passion point for creating unique, unexpected and delicious recipes,” says Leslie Polizzotto, co-founder of The Doughnut Project. “The Apple Crisp is such an iconic fall dessert and we wanted to give people a taste of it like they've never had before. The hard cider in this recipe provides the perfect amount of juicy fresh apple notes that balance the doughnuts' sweet crunchy goodness.”

For those who can’t enjoy the doughnut in person, Angry Orchard and The Doughnut Project will share the doughnut recipe with the public.
