Family-run pie purveyor The Pie Hole currently has five locations in California: Hollywood, Arts District, Pasadena, Orange County and Glendale. The bakery is planning to add three more California stores this month, according to co-owner Lindsay Hollister-Heffner.

In November, The Pie Hole will open in Venice, Long Beach, and San Bernardino. It partnered with Newport Beach franchising firm Fransmart back in 2015 to begin the process of expansion. That led to the Pasadena, Hollywood, Orange, and Glendale locations joining the original Arts District location.

There are also franchises in Durham, North Carolina and Tokyo, Japan. With the November additions, The Pie Hole will have eight Southern California locations as well as these shops outside of California.

The Pie Hole specializes in pies both sweet and savory. The bakery offers sweet flavors like Mexican Chocolate and Salted Caramel Pecan, as well as pot pies, breakfast pies, and hand pies.
