One of the most well-known doughnut shops in the country, Voodoo Doughnut welcomes plenty of visitors each day into its stores. For a few hundred dollars, those visitors can even get married and have a one-of-a-kind ceremony.

According to Brides.com, five of Voodoo’s seven locations will perform these ceremonies. Some of the perks of this include bride-and-groom-shaped doughnuts and a sprinkle shower.

“We’ve done hundreds and hundreds of ceremonies since we’ve been opened," says Voodoo Doughnut co-founder Tres Shannon. "I like to see that some of the same things that we've always done from the beginning are still being used. But I also like how they're individualized for whoever's doing it. For the most part, I think, with weddings, you keep grandma and grandpa happy, and mom and bride happy, and you're gonna have a pretty successful wedding.”

Shannon and co-founder Kenneth "Cat Daddy" Pogson were both ministers before opening their business.

“[Pogson] and I were universal life ministers before we went into the doughnut business and we felt pretty much since day one that we should have a ceremony. Why not weddings? Doughnuts and weddings, they go together great,” Shannon says.
