The U.K.’s answer to the U.S. Cronut and other hybrid pastries, the mince pie croissant, is set to debut at PAUL, a bakery café chain in the U.K., France, and many other locations.

The hybrid of French pastry and British pie is a croissant filled with dried fruits, distilled spirits, and spices (mincemeat). PAUL was looking to create a perfect French-British fusion for the season.

“This all-butter croissant filled with rich, sweet mincemeat and dusted with icing sugar is the perfect grab-and-go snack whilst on the move, and makes for the ideal breakfast to wake up to on Christmas morning,” the bakery café chain says.

Mince pie croissants will be offered at PAUL stores beginning November 28, at £1.75 ($2.05 U.S.) per pastry.
