Starting in November, nationally-recognized Federal Donuts will open a new location inside of a Whole Foods market in Philadelphia.

The bakery, along with vegan falafel shop Goldie, will be moving into the Center City Whole Foods next month.  They are replacing Asian restaurant Cheu Noodle Bar and fast-casual vegan shop Wiz Kid, who announced plans to pull out of Whole Foods after October 22.

The Whole Foods Market in Center City opened in October of 2016 with a food hall inside of it. Cheu Noodle Bar and Wiz Kid were two of the original four restaurants setting up shop there, along with Italian American restaurant Severino Cucina Rustica and hummus eatery Dizengoff. Dizengoff happens to be owned by business partners Michael Solomonov and Steven Cook, who are also the owners of Federal Donuts.

Federal Donuts’ new location inside Whole Foods will join its previous locations, which include multiple shops in Philadelphia and one in Miami.

Solomonov and Cook released a new cookbook on September 26 called Federal Donuts: The (Partially) True Spectacular Story, which serves as a biographical look at how they turned passion into a mini empire. It also contains recipes for all of the shop’s popular cake donuts and fried chicken.
