Great American Cookies stores in Albany and Valdosta, Georgia are treating American troops
through their customers.

The stores are holding a “Cookies for Troops” campaign, in which customers can donate a dollar to purchase a cookie for a local service member. Customers can donate as much as they want until October 28.

“To me, this is just a way to show all the servicemen and servicewomen how much we appreciate them and to warm their hearts a little while most of them are away from their loved ones during the holidays,” Albany General Manager Caitlin Snyder says.

Great American Cookies was established in 1977 in Atlanta, Georgia and quickly gained a reputation with its generations-old family recipe.
