Sugar Shack Donuts, a bakery with locations in Virginia, Florida, and Washington, D.C., is planning a special treat for Harry Potter fans celebrating the 20th anniversary of the release of the first book in the acclaimed series.

The chain’s Virginia Beach and Richmond locations will be offering a butterbeer donut for a limited time in October during the weekends of 14-15 and 21-22. The bakery is accepting preorders, but it is booked up for the weekend of 14-15 and has a limited quantity for the weekend of 21-22.

These extraordinary-looking donuts are based on the famous butterbeer beverage from the Harry Potter universe. The taste of the donut is a hybrid of crème soda and butterscotch, and it is covered in a white glaze and gold stars. The donut is then topped with a golden snitch in the middle, which is a donut hole dunked in a golden glaze and finished with vanilla fondant wings.

Sugar Shack is also offering free house donuts to visitors who meet specific requirements. For example, on October 12, anyone whose first name starts with the letter H or whose last name starts with the letter P will receive a donut (for Harry Potter). It has also asked visitors to perform “spells” or bring in their favorite Harry Potter novels to receive the offer.
