Popular California bakery and café Porto’s expanded to four locations earlier this year, and for the next six months it will add a temporary fifth location for California residents to enjoy.

Starting September 9, 2017 and running until March 8, 2018, Porto’s will open a pop-up café in Century City, a neighborhood in the city of Los Angeles. The previous Porto’s locations are found in Buena Park, Burbank, Glendale, and Downey.

The new café will be known as Doña Dulce and will offer Porto’s classic Cuban-inspired sweets, such as cream cheese rolls and raspberry besitos. The café will also have Cuban beverages such as café cubanos, cortaditos, and café con leche from F. Gaviña & Sons, a roaster in Los Angeles.

Doña Dulce will be located at Annenberg Space for Photography, in conjunction with a new exhibit there that highlights Cuban photography. Titled Cuba Is, the photography is an intimate portrait of the country’s humanity.
