Austin, Texas will be host to an event that promises to provide a taste of tomorrow when it comes to food. Taking place October 25-27, the 2017 Restaurant Innovation Summit presented by the National Restaurant Association (NRA) will share the latest innovations from experts who are changing the way the industry does business.

This year’s Summit looks to bring operators together with futurists and innovators to give attendees strategies on how to work with tech, not against it.

Sessions at the event will give an in-depth look at how restaurants are reinventing the hospitality experience for their guests. Here are just a few of the featured sessions that will be held this year, courtesy of the NRA:

  • Exploring the latest disruptive food trends and innovations – Panelists from Tiff’s Treats, Shake Shack, The Future Market and Raising Cane’s will join moderator Sam Khoury of Next Stage Partners to talk about the impacts of key disruptive trends in the food industry. The panel also will explore anticipated trends, challenges and opportunities for innovation in the rapidly growing foodservice marketplace.
  • Tomorrow’s Internet of Things – Internet of Things is promising to connect all machines on our planet. We will talk with futurists in the space and explore how the technology can help our industry improve the customer experience, the team experience and production efficiency.
