After celebrating its Tokyo location’s second birthday with watermelon soft serve, Dominique Ansel Bakery is back with a new summer treat in Japan.

The new offering from Dominique Ansel Japan is a bit more outlandish than watermelon, this time a Crème de la Corn dessert. The treat consists of a grilled corn on the cob that is topped with a swirl of caramel sweet corn soft serve and little kernels of corn.

The Crème de la Corn will only be available for a limited time throughout the rest of the summer in Japan, costing about 1,000 yen (or just over $9 U.S.)

Much like the watermelon soft serve, this sweet corn soft serve may one day become a summer sensation in the United States if ever given the opportunity.
