Sam Pallottini has joined Reading Bakery Systems as director of cookie, cracker and pet food equipment sales. In his new position, Mr. Pallottini will be responsible for directing sales efforts of RBS equipment and systems into these markets. He will report to Shawn Moye, vice-president of sales.
Mr. Pallottini has more than 25 years of food process equipment experience, with a wide-ranging engineering career that has included positions in design, manufacturing, project management and field service. Prior to joining RBS, he was the territory sales manager for Northeast U.S. and Eastern Canada for Tromp Group, a sister company to RBS and a member of the Markel Food Group.
“As a cookie expert with a solid knowledge of crackers and a strong passion for pet food, Sam is a perfect fit for this position,” Mr. Moye says. “His past experience in engineering and sales will help his customers by providing better service, knowledge and support for these important markets.”
Mr. Pallottini received a bachelor’s degree in engineering and physics and a master’s degree in business administration from Grand Valley State University.
