Ace Bakery pink bun
Ace Bakery and Hero Certified Burgers have teamed up together in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation- Ontario Region (CBCF), in an effort to help "beet" cancer. From September 28 through October 25, diners can visit any Hero Certified Burger location in Ontario and purchase a burger on an Ace Bakery pink bun. The buns get their pink color from all natural beet juice, which also tastes great.

Hero diners will have the option to upgrade their favorite menu burger to a pink bun, or order the delightful Think Pink Burger, featuring natural beef, raspberry goat cheese, and a pink slaw. For every pink bun sold during the campaign, $1 will be donated to CBCF.

"The ravages of breast cancer affect so many people. At Ace Bakery we feel strongly about finding innovative ways, like the pink bun, to raise funds for breast cancer research with the goal of ending such a terrible disease," states Roy Benin, President of Ace Bakery.

The campaign's tagline cheekily reads: Be a Hero. Let's #BeetCancer together.

Join Ace Bakery and Hero Certified Burgers on Sunday, October 4, at the CIBC Run for the Cure Toronto site. "Runners, look out for the Hero food truck at the finish line, where we'll be ready with pink sliders in hand," says Lettieri. All donations will continue to benefit CBCF.
