After a lengthy search, Courtyard San Antonio Riverwalk has hired Tarin Pueblo as its new executive chef. Tarin brings a wealth of management and culinary experience to the San Antonio River Walk hotel with balconies, having served as general manager of Joseph's Storehouse Restaurant and Bakery and executive chef at Custom Cooking, both in San Antonio.

Tarin has deep ties to the San Antonio market. She attended culinary school at The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of San Antonio. During her studies, she was awarded the First Place Grand Prize at the ACF Competition in June 2011.

"It feels great," Pueblo said of her appointment to the new position. "I really love the atmosphere and the wonderful team I get to work with. Everyone here is very driven and unbelievably friendly."

When asked about any possible hotel menu updates, Tarin answered with enthusiasm: "I definitely plan to further develop our catering, banquet and wedding menus. These are events primed for new ideas and upscale selections. Updating these menus will help us continue to provide the superior level of cuisine we're known for, pushing our team to continue to raise the bar with our offerings and service."

With eight event rooms totaling 9,005 square feet of flexible space, Courtyard is a perfect location for wedding ceremonies, receptions, bridal showers, bachelor and bachelorette parties, rehearsal dinners and bridesmaid luncheons. Each room boasts modern audiovisual equipment and high-speed Internet access for fun presentations and videos. The San Antonio River Walk hotel's stylish amenities and boutique accommodations complement the expert catering, banquet and planning teams that will work with happy couples to coordinate entertainment, food, flowers, photography, transportation services, guest lodging and more.
