Bruegger's Bagels encourages guests to take refuge from the cold winter weather with comfort foods and warm beverages that can only be found at its bakeries, starting Jan. 12.

Known for its authentic New York-style bagels and signature coffees, Bruegger's Bagels brings back some seasonal guest favorites and introduces two new sandwiches to the winter menu: The Benedict and Classic Grilled Cheese.

The Benedict is Bruegger's Bagels' version of eggs Benedict, with a freshly cracked egg, Canadian bacon and hollandaise sauce on a toasted plain bagel or any of the 15-plus bagel varieties featured at Bruegger's Bagels bakeries' nationwide.

The new Classic Grilled Cheese sandwich also offers a modern twist with loads of Muenster and cheddar cheeses melted to perfection on buttered sourdough bread. Throughout the season, the bakery will also continue to offer the popular new Pastrami, Egg and Swiss sandwich that debuted this past fall.

Returning seasonal favorites are Bruegger's Bagels' famous 100 percent made-in-Vermont, all-natural Maple Cream Cheese, French Toast Coffee and the 12-Grain Bagel. The winter menu is available at bakeries nationwide through April 7.

Also for a limited time, Bruegger's Bagels is highlighting the people and traditions behind the brand through its "Behind the Taste" video series.
