The Catersource and Event Solutions Conference & Tradeshow announced that celebrity chef Neal Fraser, Executive Chef and co-owner of Los Angeles' Vibiana venue, will take the keynote stage at the annual event this spring. Returning for its 23rd year, the world's premier conference and tradeshow for catering and events professionals will welcome thousands of attendees from around the globe. This year's show will run from March 8-11, 2015 at Caesars Palace and the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV.

Native to Los Angeles, Chef Fraser owns critically acclaimed restaurants in his hometown including BLD and Fritzi Dog. He and his partners own and operate Vibiana, and will open their much anticipated Redbird restaurant in the rectory building of the property next week.

Chef Fraser began his culinary career as a line cook, which inspired him to enroll in the Culinary Institute of America in New York. His formal training opened many doors, leading him to positions at Joachim Splichal's Pinot Bistro, Wolfgang Puck's Spago, and Hans Rockenwagner's Rox in Los Angeles. Since opening an array of highly praised culinary establishments, Chef Fraser has appeared on Iron Chef America, Top Chef Masters, Hell's Kitchen, and most recently battled (and beat) Chef Bobby Flay on Beat Bobby Flay.

"From line cook to celebrity chef to caterer and venue owner, Neal Fraser's expansive culinary career is definitely impressive. With a deep understanding of a premier event venue's catering needs, he'll bring an especially relevant perspective to the entire spectrum of our show's attendees—from professional caterers to event planners," said Kathleen Stoehr, Publisher & Executive Editor of Catersource magazine.

Chef Fraser will speak during the Catersource and Event Solutions opening session, Sunday, March 8, 4:45 – 6:15 pm at Caesars Palace. He'll share the stage with world famous chef, Marcus Samuelsson.
