This Veterans' Day, Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop is giving all active and inactive U.S. military veterans a free donut in an effort to thank them for their service and dedication to their country.

"A free donut to our veterans is just a small way for us to give back to those who give so much, every day," said Mike Meilleur, executive vice president, Tim Hortons U.S.

This is the sixth year the bakery cafe chain has given free donuts to U.S. veterans. The promotion will last all day on November 11, Veterans' Day, at participating restaurants or until supplies last. No purchase is necessary.
