There’s always something going on at the International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE), which will be Sept. 13-17 in Las Vegas, so attendees should check out the schedule to make sure they don’t miss their favorite activities and competitions.

Opening night of IBIE 2025 kicks off with The Rockin’ Pint concert with 1980s band Wang Chung and a special performance by celebrity baker and bass guitarist Duff Goldman and his group, Foie Grock. This event is a $10 add-on, and includes a limited-edition commemorative lanyard.

A number of competitions will be going on at IBIE, including the Pillsbury Creative Cake Decorating Competition, Sept. 14-16 in the North Hall, and the World Bread Awards USA, Sept. 15-16 in the West Hall. Debuting this year is the Panettone World Cup — Americas Selection, Sept. 16 in the West Hall, which is open to contestants from the United States, Canada, Mexico, Venezuela and Uruguay. Winners will go on to the world final in Milan, Italy, in 2026. Those interested in competing in the World Bread Awards or Panettone World Cup have until Aug. 31 to apply on the bakingexpo.com website.
