Dawn Foods, a global leader in bakery ingredients and innovation, is set to launch two new products: Dawn Exceptional® Churro Donut Mix and Dawn® Ready-to-Finish Churro Donuts, both available across the United States beginning Tuesday, July 1.
Dawn Churro Donuts deliver a new experience in sweet indulgence, blending the crispy, chewy texture of a traditional churro with the shape and versatility of a classic donut. They're designed to meet the evolving tastes of today’s consumers, particularly Gen Z and Hispanic audiences who are drawn to nostalgic desserts reimagined in fun, craveable formats.

The Churro Donut Mix is freeze/thaw stable, boasts an extended shelf life and is easy to use - just add water. The frozen, Ready-to-Finish Churro Donuts make operations even easier, by simply adding warm for a few minutes and finishing as you like.
Dawn’s proprietary donut assortment research highlights that consumers are craving more variety both in flavor and format. Churros rank in the 96th percentile for future growth potential and are already recognized and loved by 83 percent of consumers. According to the Retail Bakers of America, sales of fried donuts are forecasted to grow 7 percent in 2025.
