Walker’s Shortbread, known for its iconic, buttery shortbread, has announced the launch of its Gluten Free Shortbread Rounds, available nationwide at Whole Foods Market this May, just in time for Celiac Awareness Month.

Now available in Classic, Chocolate Chip and Ginger & Lemon, Walker’s Gluten Free Shortbread offers the same texture and heritage recipe experience, made with a special blend of rice, maize flour and potato starch.

Joseph Walker founded the company when he opened his village bakery in 1898. Over one hundred twenty-five years later his grandchildren and great grandchildren continue the tradition of fine baking that he started. Though the Walker family have added many new products to their range during the last century, each and every one holds to those original values of quality and natural goodness.
