King Arthur Baking Company has announced the launch of its first-ever podcast, Things Bakers Know: The King Arthur Baking Podcast, debuting on Monday, April 28. Hosted by staff editor Jessica Battilana and editorial director David Tamarkin, the podcast will provide listeners with expert advice, practical tips and lively conversations on all things baking.

Each episode will dive deep into a different baked good — its history and lore, tips and tricks, trends and takes — and will also answer baking questions directly from listeners. The initial season will feature five episodes exploring the following topics: Chocolate Chip Cookies, Pizza, Birthday Cake, Biscuits and Sourdough.

Battilana and Tamarkin will have in-depth chats with accomplished bakers – Zoë François, Dan Richer, Cheryl Day and more – to get their expert advice. King Arthur’s own Amber Eisler, director of the Baking School, and Martin Philip, baking ambassador, will also stop by to bring their extensive knowledge and passion for baking to the conversation.

Listeners can submit their own baking questions, which will be answered during the episodes, making this an interactive experience for bakers of all levels.

“For me, baking has always been about more than just following a recipe — it's about the stories, the techniques, and the little tricks that make all the difference,” says Jessica Battilana. “With this podcast, we’re bringing those insights to life, helping home bakers feel more confident and excited every time they step into the kitchen.”

Things Bakers Know will be available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music and additional podcast services.
