Joey Chestnut, the number-one-ranked competitive eater in the world, will defend his world bagel-eating title against the world’s top-ranked Major League Eating athletes at the third-annual Siegel’s Bagelmania World Bagel Eating Championship at 11 am on Saturday, February 1, in Las Vegas.

Major League Eating competitors will return to iconic Jewish delicatessen Siegel’s Bagelmania to battle for the championship title and belt as well as a share of $10,000 in prize money. 

Last year, Chestnut took the championship belt after eating 15 bagels with cream cheese, edging out the number-three-ranked eater Geoffrey Esper, who consumed 14.5 bagels and the number-four-ranked James Webb, who ate 13. 

Top-ranked competitive eaters in attendance at the 2025 event will include:
