In conjunction with the consumer show of the Chicago Fine Chocolate Show, The National Chocolate Show will premiere as the only trade show dedicated to the chocolate industry in the country on Friday, November 16 through Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Chicago’s Navy Pier.

Now until Sunday, September 30, interested trade show attendees are able to register for FREE. After September 30, trade attendees will be charged an admission price of $25.

The National Chocolate Show offers a forum for the advancement of chocolate amongst industry leaders. Through empowering conference programming, The National Chocolate Show will ignite discussions on cocoa farming sustainability, trend spotting, fine flavor exploration, new product development, business insights, and more. Attendees will also be guided through exceptional tasting experiences, interactive demonstrations and more.

With seven of the top ten manufacturers of chocolate residing in the United States, Founder Mario Pi saw the need for a trade show dedicated to chocolate in the United States. Chicago was a natural choice for the show, as the epicenter of the confection industry, with companies like Fannie May, Blommer Chocolate Company, World’s Finest Chocolates and more.

“We’ve heard from our exhibitors and sponsors that there is an unmet need for a trade show that celebrates the craft of chocolate and offers solutions to elevate the quality of product available in the chocolate industry,” says Pi.

Exhibitors for The National Chocolate Show will include leaders in chocolate product, supplies, ingredients, equipment, packaging, point of purchase, displays, apparel and uniform and more.  Some of the esteemed confirmed exhibitors will include Barry Callebaut, Blommer Chocolate Company, Cacao Barry, Valrhona, Mod-Pac Corp., Savage Bros. Co., and more.

Interested attendees could include targeted buyers of chocolate products and services from specialty grocers, gift shops, food service distributors, confectionery retailers, as well as chocolatiers and chefs from hotels, restaurants, bakeries, and more.
