Voodoo Doughnut has announced its quarterly give-back campaign, partnering with the Organization for Autism Research (OAR) through the creation of the nostalgic-flavored Fluffernutter doughnut.

Available now through March 27 at participating Voodoo Doughnut locations in Portland and Eugene, Oregon; Vancouver, Washington; Austin, Cypress, Houston Katy, and San Antonio, Texas; and Denver, Colorado, the Fluffernutter is a peanut-shaped doughnut filled with marshmallowy fluff, dipped in creamy peanut butter and chopped roasted peanuts.

A portion of the proceeds from every Fluffernutter doughnut sold will go directly to OAR’s mission to apply research to the challenges of autism.

“OAR is extremely excited to partner with Voodoo Doughnut to help raise awareness and funds for OAR’s research and programs,” says Kristen Essex, OAR’s executive director. “The newly created Fluffernutter is a delicious way for Voodoo Doughnut’s patrons to support OAR’s mission and free resources for autistic individuals, their families, and supporters. Thank you to Voodoo Doughnut!”

“One of Voodoo’s fundamental values is to give back to important causes throughout the year,” says Chris Schultz, Voodoo Doughnut chief executive officer. “We are proud to play even a small role in supporting OAR and their mission surrounding the issues and challenges that autistic children and adults and their families face daily.”
