Food at baseball stadiums is no longer all about hot dogs and nachos. As the 2022 Major League Baseball season begins, fans are flocking to the stadiums to watch their teams on the diamond — and to try the newest items on the menu.

“Now more than ever, consumers are placing value on the ability to get out into the world and enjoy unparalleled experiences,” says Alison Birdwell, president and chief executive officer of Aramark Sports + Entertainment, a division of Aramack, which is the partner of nine MLB stadiums.

Also offering baseball fans new items to choose off the menu is Delaware North Sportservice, which partners with 11 MLB ballparks.

“The offseason gives our teams at every ballpark the opportunity to test new recipes, establish additional local partnerships and thoroughly analyze our operational footprint to find ways to improve convenience and speed of service — including through fan-facing technology solutions,” says Jamie Obletz, president of Delaware North Sportservice.

From new takes on classics to new takes entirely, baseball stadiums are expanding their menus with items featuring a local flair that are sure to impress.
