The Ice Cream Cone Cupcake is a fun after-school treat for children and a unique indulgence for customers of all ages. Here's how to easily prepare this simple dessert:

First, fill the ice cream cone with your choice of cake batter — cake cones, instead of waffle, tend to work best for these. Bake the cone(s) in the oven.

Once the cake batter is fully baked, frost the top of the cone in the style of a scoop of ice cream or a swirl of soft serve. Dip the frosting section (above the cone) into Magic Shell or a similar frozen shell syrup. Top the cone with sprinkles.

As the Ice Cream Cone Cupcake can get a bit messy, especially for to-go customers, it's helpful to have a system in place for packaging the treat. For easy transportation, cut a hole in the bottom of a paper cup. Flip the cup upside-down and set the cone in the new opening. You can then place the cupped cone in a small bag for even more mess-prevention.
