New York City mini donut bakery BlissBomb is entering the new year by bringing the flavors of great escapes to its seasonal lineup which launched on Monday, January 11.

The flavors, conceived and hand crafted by BlissBomb executive pastry chef Tarran Hatton, formerly of Milk Bar, will last through March. They include:

  • Black Forest – A chocolate donut marbled with chewy, tart cherry pieces, this German treat is topped with a creamy vanilla glaze, crunchy toasted almond slivers and a maraschino cherry garnish
  • Chocolate Fennel – Inspired by Italian cookies, this sweet anise-flavored donut is covered in rich, dark chocolate and topped with festive candied fennel and colorful crispy pearls
  • Coconut Cake – An Old Charleston Coconut Cake in a mini donut, this rum-soaked South Carolina treat is enrobed in white chocolate and fully dressed in toasted coconut

“Food is a great way to fuel a sense of escapism – it’s a highly accessible antidote to the challenges of limited travel and social experiences,” says Hatton. “Our new seasonals take you on a journey, from the German alps and rolling Tuscan countryside, to the South Carolina coastline – all in a 3-4 bite indulgent mini donut.”

BlissBomb ships baked mini donuts in luxe gift boxes ($48) and DIY donut decorating kits ($40) anywhere in the US. New York City wholesale, delivery (GrubHub, DoorDash, Postmates, ezCater) and catering are also available.
