With the need for a quick breakfast more important than ever, Stan’s Donuts and Coffee in Chicago has announced the launch of its first-ever egg sandwich, the Stanwich.
Available all day while supplies last beginning Monday, November 9, Stanwiches will be offered at Stan’s Wicker Park, Oakbrook Terrace and Streeterville locations in Chicago. In celebration of the launch, all Stan’s mobile app users will receive a free Stanwich from November 9-11 with the purchase of any item and show proof of download.
The Stanwich is nestled on Stan’s Parker House rolls, baked fresh from a famous yeast-raised donut dough for a vanilla-infused, brioche-like flavor. The Stanwich features cage-free eggs, cheese and a choice of cherry-smoked bacon or plant-based sausage. Stanwich options include egg and cheese ($3.99); egg, bacon and cheese ($4.99); and egg, plant-based sausage and cheese ($4.99).
“You can’t make an omelet, after all, without cracking a few eggs, and there’s plenty of opportunity to create an even more satisfying sandwich,” says Stan’s ‘chief doughboy’ Rich Labriola.
Customers can also make the Stanwich a combo by adding a medium coffee. It’s $5.49 for an egg & cheese Stanwich and a medium coffee, or $5.99 for an egg, bacon and cheese or egg, plant-based sausage and cheese Stanwich and a medium coffee.
