Premium chocolate manufacturer GODIVA has been coordinating to give back to frontline workers around the world. In the past few weeks, the company has donated chocolate, coffee and other treats to hospitals, supporting hospital workers, doctors, nurses and caregivers.

In addition to its donations to hospitals in the United States, GODIVA has sent packages to hospital workers, doctors and nurses in hospitals and facilities in areas where the brand has a strong presence to support its local communities - China, Belgium, United Arab Emirates (UAE), the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia and Turkey.

Announced today, GODIVA has also partnered with the Tenet Healthcare Corporation, a diversified healthcare services company, and HCA Healthcare, one of the nation's leading providers of healthcare services, to donate over 600,000 pieces of chocolate to both hospital networks across the country.

“On behalf of GODIVA’s chocolatiers around the world, I want to express our profound gratitude to the frontline hospital workers who are caring for our communities during this pandemic,” says Annie Young-Scrivner, chief executive officer for GODIVA Chocolatier. “We are in awe of their courage and selflessness, and forever thankful to these heroes. Our hope is that our product donations will give them a moment of comfort and relief during some of the most difficult days of their lives.”

“Thank you to GODIVA for this generous chocolate donation and for bringing a bit of light to our frontline workers during this difficult and unprecedented time. We are extremely proud of our teams and know they will appreciate this kind gesture by GODIVA and your message of love and support,” says Sandi Karrmann, EVP, chief human resources officer for Tenet Healthcare.

“Across the country, our frontline colleagues are giving everything they have to care for our patients. We are so appreciative of the gracious donations from GODIVA and the message it sends our colleagues - that the world is holding them in their hearts,” adds Jen Berres, chief human resources officer for HCA Healthcare.
