After closing for the first few weeks of the coronavirus outbreak, Manresa Bread is firing up its ovens again in Los Gatos, Calif. The bakery team is producing a very limited amount of breads and pastries out of its commissary space from Friday, April 3 to Sunday, April 5.

The menu available for pre-order includes sourdough bread loaves, chocolate babka, croissants, kouign amann, monkey bread and pain au chocolat. Most items will be sold by the box. Manresa Bread will also be selling five-pound bags of organic flour from Central Milling.

To make its pick-ups safer, the bakery’s pick-up window is only open from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday through Sunday. On the day selected, customers park across the street and walk up the bakery’s entrance. Customers are encouraged to maintain a responsible social distance as indicated by markers.

Manresa will continue the same schedule next week on April 10-12. According to The Mercury News, the bakery plans to make coffee, wine and Easter chocolates available for purchase in the coming weeks.
