New York-based Lady M Confections has been making its way out west. In mid-August, the chain will bring its Cake Boutique to Seattle for one weekend, and it has announced the follow-up to that for September.

As part of an ongoing series to take its cakes around the world, Lady M will set up shop in the San Francisco Bay Area for one weekend at Chef Chu’s in Los Altos, California. The pop-up will take place on the following days:

  • Saturday, September 7 (10 a.m.-3 p.m.)
  • Sunday, September 8 (10 a.m.-3 p.m.)

The pop-up cake boutique’s menu selection will include whole 6-inch and 9-inch cakes in the following flavors: Signature Mille Crepes, Green Tea Mille Crepes, and Citron Mille Crepes. The Signature Mille Crepes features several layers of handmade crepes and whipped pastry cream. Green Tea Mille Crepes is Lady M’s best-selling cake, topped with matcha from Japan. Citron Mille Crepes feature lemon custard and candied lemon zest.

Also available at the pop-up just in time for the Mid-Autumn Festival will be Lady M’s 2019 Mooncake collection. It includes eight mini-mooncakes in four exclusive flavors: Green Tea, Chocolate, Earl Grey, and Rose. Each mooncake was inspired by one of Lady M’s popular Mille Crepes cakes and created in partnership with Kee Wah Bakery.

The mooncakes come hand-packaged in a collectible, animated zoetrope gift box chronicling the famous story of the rabbit and moon. A limited number of mooncake gift boxes will be offered at the pop-up.
