Many people around the country are passionate about diner chain Waffle House, especially in the South. A couple recently took their love for Waffle House to the next level by requesting a themed cake for their wedding.

The Royal Cakery in New Orleans, Louisiana created the cake replica of a Waffle House diner. It features the restaurant’s exterior, Waffle House’s famous black-and-yellow signpost, and bride-and-groom figurines standing lovingly outside.

News of the cake made its way to Waffle House, which posted photos of the cake on Instagram. The caption reads, “I now pronounce you husband, wife, and the best wedding cake there ever was!”

The owner of The Royal Cakery is Shirelle Royal. She has prepared cakes and confections for many events including the renaming of Louis Armstrong Airport in New Orleans and countless Mardi Gras balls.
