Portland-based Voodoo Doughnut is bringing some nostalgia to its U.S. locations during the month of August. At seven Voodoo Doughnut locations across the country, the Miami Vice Berry doughnut is returning for a limited time.

The doughnut is an homage to all things 80’s. It first launched in May of 2003 when the doughnut shop first opened their doors, and has since become a seasonal treat many customers wait for all year-long.

Miami Vice Berries are raised yeast doughnuts topped with vanilla frosting, blue raspberry dust, and pink sprinkles. They are available for $2.50 each throughout August.

“While we still sling our most popular flavors daily, we heard the calling of our fans to bring back this limited time fan favorite,” says co-founder, Kenneth “Cat Daddy” Pogson.
