Primo’s Donuts, a staple of the Los Angeles community for over 60 years, is launching a collection of new donuts on Friday, June 7.

In celebration of National Donut Day, the shop will welcome its new arrivals beginning at 5:30 a.m. PST that morning. Customers are encouraged to get to the shop early before the donuts sell out. Among the new flavors available:

  • Devil’s food cake donuts covered with milk chocolate truffle, hazelnut, or vanilla ganache and topped with rich chocolate and vanilla sprinkles or peanuts.
  • A raised donut topped with hazelnut ganache, chocolate ganache piping, and chocolate sprinkles
  • A chocolate ganache glazed donut with French vanilla custard filling topped with chocolate shavings

Earlier this spring, Primo’s added vegan donuts in an array of pastel colors to the menu. The shop now offers vegan flavors such as blueberry, vanilla, cherry, cinnamon, and plain.

“After 63 years we have decided to introduce vegan donuts for the first time. There’s a huge demand for vegan donuts and we are excited for vegans to taste Primo’s! The vegan donuts taste just as good as our classic cake donuts.” says Ralph Primo Jr., son of owners Ralph and Celia Primo.
