Premium commercial food equipment manufacturer Hobart recently held its 12th custom-designed mixer giveaway, which took place on Thursday, March 7 at the 2019 International Pizza Expo in Las Vegas.
Hobart has announced that Chris Koutsantonis of Olympia Greek Taverna in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, was the winner of “The Doughminator” — a Hobart Legacy HL662 pizza mixer valued at $20,000.
This year’s customer-designed prize is inspired by the maximum heavy-duty performance of the 60-quart Legacy HL662 Mixer, which features a 2.7 horsepower motor and exclusive Variable Frequency Drive technology designed for consistency and durability under the heaviest dough loads.
Other exclusive Hobart features on the Legacy HL662 include Shift-on-the-Fly — controls that allow the operator to change speeds while the mixer is running — and the Hobart-patented Soft Start Agitation Technology that provides a soft transition into higher speed to reduce the opportunity for product splash-out. Combined, these features improve productivity, performance, and sanitation.
