Artisanal donut shop The Salty Donut will remain open on Thursday, November 22 for Thanksgiving for the first time in its relatively short history. The Miami-based shop is getting into the spirit of the holiday by offering limited-edition donuts based on fall flavors.

Currently available for pre-order online until Sunday, November 18, the Pecan Pie Cheesecake ($4.25) and Apple Crisp ($3.50) donuts will make a unique addition to many meals around Thanksgiving:

  • Pecan Pie Cheesecake – A 24-hour brioche dough, scooped out and filled with a homemade cheesecake and pecan pie filling with a pecan toffee glaze, candied pecans, and an edible flower
  • Apple Crips – A 24-hour brioche dough, scooped out and filled with baked brown sugar and cinnamon apple slices, then topped with apple pie streusel and dehydrated apple chips

Ten addtional special flavors are available for pre-order, including guava and cheese, white chocolate tres leches, and vegan sweet potato pie. All of these donuts will be available for purchase in-store on Thanksgiving, while the pecan pie cheesecake and apple crisp flavors will be available in-store from Tuesday, November 20 through Thanksgiving.
