This week, Dominique Ansel’s iconic New York City bakery is celebrating its seventh birthday. First debuting in 2011, the innovative bakery from the creator of the trendsetting Cronut has gone on to make a huge mark on the industry.

Over its history, Dominique Ansel Bakery has earned thousands of fans around the world. Some of those fans happen to be talented artists who have created great works of art honoring their beloved bakery. As part of its birthday celebration, Dominique Ansel Bakery is exhibiting some of these works of art on the walls of its store.

These drawings will be featured from Monday, October 29 to Sunday, November 4. Several of these works of art honor the bakery’s delicious treats, while one even depicts Dominique Ansel himself.

“Over the years, we’ve spotted some amazing artists on Instagram who have visited us and captured our pastries so beautifully with drawings, sketches, paintings, and creations of your own. It’s almost as if our pastries are your very own “still life.” So we’ve asked some of these artists if they would be willing to draw something to help us celebrate 7 years. Here’s the result of their passion and their creativity, bringing our desserts to life on canvas,” the bakery posted on Facebook.

In addition to the fan art, Dominique Ansel Bakery is also offering guests celebratory slices of cake on Saturday, November 3, which is the official birthday date.
