The latest comes just in time for Halloween. Available starting Thursday, October 25 for a limited time in participating North America and Caribbean locations, the Witch’s Brew Frappuccino is a chilling concoction worthy of the season.
The haunting beverage consists of a purple blend of “toad’s breath” and orange crème Frappuccino and a swirl of green “bat warts” (made with chia seeds). The Witch’s Brew Frappuccino is topped with vanilla whipped cream and a dusting of green “lizard scale” powder.
“We wanted to create a flavor that you might enjoy at a Halloween party. It gets a little bit of juicy-ness from the orange flavor,” says Jennica Robinson from the Starbucks beverage development team. “Starbucks loves to celebrate Halloween, and each year our Frappuccino brings something different to the season.”
Starbucks is offering Halloween-themed treats to pair with its beverages. The Mummy Cake Pop is a vanilla cake pop dressed up as a mummy with glowing green eyes and dipped in a chocolaty coating, and the Raccoon Sugar Cookie is a buttery iced sugar cookie dressed up as a woodland critter.
