New York City’s The Doughnut Project has become famous for its alcohol-infused doughnut collaborations. In the last few years, the shop has partnered with a wide range of companies to add everything from wine to apple cider to whiskey in its doughnuts.

The latest collaboration will come later in September in celebration of National Bourbon Heritage Month. The Doughnut Project has teamed up with Kentucky’s Four Roses Bourbon for a unique offering sure to please bourbon fans.

A special bourbon-infused doughnut will be available at The Doughnut Project’s two New York City locations from Friday, September 21 to Sunday, September 23. The limited-time doughnut will feature the iconic bourbon, which has been enjoyed since the late 1800’s.

That is not the only special doughnut The Doughnut Project is working on this month. On Friday, September 14 to Sunday, September 16, the shop is teaming up with famed New York City restaurant and dessert specialist Serendipity 3 for the Frrrozen Hot Chocolate Doughnut, inspired by Serendipity 3’s famous Frrrozen Hot Chocolate drink. It features a creamy frozen blend of 14 exotic cocoas, topped with whipped cream and shaved chocolate.
