Best Regards Bakery & Café in Overland Park, Kansas is no stranger to interesting promotions. The bakery brought customers in the door on the day of the total solar eclipse on August 21 with a themed box lunch that included a sandwich on a black out brioche bun made using an old Japanese technique that has no food coloring, a side of sun dried tomato pasta salad, Sun Chips, Eclipse gum, and a scratch made Moon Pie.

To promote National Bakery Day on Thursday, September 28, Best Regards has offered free sample packs to the first 500 customers to arrive between the hours of 3-5 p.m. CST. These sample packs include gooey butter cake, a snickerdoodle bar, a pumpkin spice cake, and a mini cream puff.

The bakery is offering a bonus special sample pack with the purchase of a lunch and will have special giveaways that tie into social media. One random share on Facebook will receive a pan of gooey butter cake, one random Like will receive a pan of snickerdoodle bars, one random comment will receive a pan of pumpkin spice cake, and the best glowing compliment will receive free cream puffs.
