Earlier this month, Panera Bread unveiled the new items that would be taking over its summer menu, all characterized by cheesy flavor.

The first was introduced last month, but was so popular that it has remained on the menu. The Bacon Mac & Cheese features tender shell pasta in a blend of rich cheeses including tangy Vermont white cheddar cheese sauce, topped with crunchy, thick-cut crispy bacon.

The other macaroni and cheese product that has debuted is the Baja Mac & Cheese, which features Vermont white cheddar mac and cheese topped with avocado, pico de gallo, and cilantro.

Two new sandwiches look to showcase cheese as well. The Four Cheese Grilled Cheese Sandwich features Fontina, sharp cheddar, Monteau, and smoked Gouda cheeses, all on Panera's country rustic bread.

Finally, the Modern Caprese Sandwich features Basil-white bean puree, sliced mozzarella, parmesan, arugula, smoked tomato confit, fresh basil, balsamic glaze, and salt and pepper, all toasted on Black Pepper Focaccia.
