Joe’s Steaks and Soda Shop, a Philadelphia restaurant known for its cheesesteaks, is celebrating its upcoming 70th anniversary with several collaborations mashing together iconic Philly foods in sandwich and milkshake form.

One of those hybrids will be courtesy of Philadelphia’s Federal Donuts. The Federal Donuts cheesesteak will feature Joe’s mouthwatering cheesesteak layered between two honey-glazed donuts from Federal Donuts. The special product will be available every Tuesday during the month of June at Joe’s two locations.

Other collaborations on the way include a Why I Love Philly shake with a custom-made Little Baby’s flavor incorporating Peanut Chews, Tastykakes, and Pretzels (July), a cherry wooder ice collaboration with John’s Water Ice (August), and a coffee milkshake featuring La Colombe coffee, topped with a Tastykake mini-doughnut (September).

Federal Donuts first opened in Philadelphia in 2011, and quickly ingrained itself in the fabric of the community. It now has several locations throughout the city, including at Citizens Bank Park, the home of the Philadelphia Phillies.
