For the 8th consecutive year, Panera Bread has partnered with The Dan Marino Foundation for National Autism Awareness Month.

From March 29 to April 15, Panera Bread locations throughout Broward and Palm Beach Counties in Florida will offer an exclusive “Marino cookie.” Proceeds from the sale of these cookies will go to the Foundation’s programs for teens and young adults with autism transitioning from school to career.

The Marino football cookies can be purchased by the “Marino Dozen,” 13 cookies, or individually, as customers help Panera Bread “Score a Touchdown for South Florida’s Autism community.” In the last seven years, Panera Bread has been able to raise over $403,000 to support the empowerment of individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.

“Claire and I are proud to be partnering with Panera Bread for the 8th year. The Foundation appreciates this amazing campaign. Every cookie purchased makes a difference, in giving a child or young adult with autism, the opportunity for a brighter future. The “Touchdown for Autism” Marino cookies are the best, just like the Panera Bread team that bake them,” says Dan Marino, former Miami Dolphins quarterback and Chairman of The Dan Marino Foundation.

In addition to the “Touchdown for Autism” campaign, Panera Bread will be collecting funds at all of these South Florida locations with Operation Doughnation boxes located next to the registers at each bakery café.
