Corner Bakery Café promotes Lent-friendly meals
“Just because a guest is observing Lent does not mean they should have to sacrifice flavor,” says Corner Bakery Café CEO Frank Paci. “Whether dining in or taking your meal to go, Corner Bakery Café has an expansive selection of Lent-friendly options for breakfast, lunch and dinner that are naturally delicious and satisfying. This year, we even added a new Linguine Alfredo and Tuna Melt for our Lent observing guests.”
For breakfast, Corner Bakery Café is offering The Farmer's Scrambler, which features scrambled eggs, peppers, mushrooms, onions, and cheddar cheese served with a side of harvest toast and oven-roasted potatoes or fresh fruit. There is also the Berry Almond Swiss Oats, featuring a large bowl of Chilled Swiss Oats topped with toasted almonds and fresh strawberries and blueberries and is served with a homemade raisin pecan sweet crisp.
For lunch and dinner, the new Linguine Alfredo Pasta features linguine pasta with garlic cream sauce, Parmesan cheese, and parsley, and is served with toasted garlic bread. The new Tuna Melt features Albacore tuna salad, Roma tomatoes, and cheddar cheese on grilled sourdough bread. Both items are available for a limited time during Lent.
