Dunkin’ Donuts prepares for spring with new donuts

Dunkin’ Donuts is looking to put a spring in its customers’ step with the addition of new limited-time menu items for the upcoming season.

The Mint Brownie Donut arrives just in time for St. Patrick’s Day and has the colors to match, while the Spring Fling Donut and MUNCHKINS donut hole treats help brighten the inside of its stores as it gets brighter (and warmer) outside.

Each donut has a flavor unique to the season. The Mint Brownie Donut is filled with mint brownie batter-flavored buttercreme, and is topped with light green dipping icing sprinkled with brownie crumbles. The Spring Fling Donut and MUNCHKINS donut holes have dark purple icing and special flower sprinkles.

Dunkin’ Donuts has also added new breakfast sandwiches to its menu:

  • The Brown Sugar Chipotle Bacon Breakfast Sandwich – Features caramelized brown sugar chipotle bacon (made with real brown sugar and chipotle seasonings) as well as egg and cheese on a buttery, flaky croissant. This sandwich is also available as a Wake-Up Wrap, with ½ egg, a slice of cheese, and two slices of the special seasoned bacon, served on a small flour tortilla.
  • The Double Sausage Breakfast Sandwich – Features a double portion of sausage with egg and cheese, all on an oven-toasted bagel.
