British companies collaborate on doughnut engagement rings

Online food delivery company Deliveroo has teamed up with the U.K.’s Doughnut Time for a one-of-a-kind treat for Valentine’s Day.

The companies have created a pair of mini-doughnuts that resemble engagement rings. One is designed to look like a silver wedding band, while the other is decorated in gold with a sparkling, strawberry-flavored diamond on top. It’s inspired by Meghan Markle’s engagement ring that was given to her by Prince Harry.

“Whether you’re cuddling up to bae, or watching a movie in solidarity with friends at home, we at Deliveroo think these doughnut engagement rings are a super fun and tasty way to celebrate the one, or the many special people in your life this Valentine’s Day,” says Deliveroo head of consumer communications Joe Groves.

The doughnuts will be available starting Monday, February 12 from Doughnut Time through Deliveroo, providing the people of London with a standout Valentine’s Day gift for their sweethearts.

“With the help of Deliveroo, we are distributing doughnut love across the capital, giving Londoners every reason to treat their loved one this Valentine’s Day,” Doughnut Time director Tom Anderson.
