The recent devastation caused by Hurricane Maria has created immense problems for the people of Puerto Rico. Many are looking to lend their support to the region, and that includes a bakery in Chicago, Illinois.

Roeser’s Bakery is looking to utilize the buzz created by the upcoming National Bakery Day on Thursday, September 28 to raise funds for Puerto Ricans. On that day, 100% of custom cookie sales at the bakery will be donated to Hurricane Maria victims in that area to help with the relief effort.

The bakery will be celebrating National Bakery Day with special raffles and giveaways, bringing many customers in the door who may go on to purchase special cookies to help the people of Puerto Rico.
